The short version: this website doesn't store the details you type. Quotes happen on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, and we collect only what we need to give you a quote and clean your home. We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we never sell or share your personal information.
Who we are
Crystal Clean House Cleaning ("Crystal Clean," "we," "us") provides residential cleaning services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and nearby communities. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, by phone, text message and email.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or health information through this website. Please don't send it to us.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising, analytics or social-media tracking cookies, and it does not use tracking pixels. Because we don't track you across websites, there is nothing to opt out of; we also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and "Do Not Track" signals by default. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.
How we use information
- To respond to your quote request and communicate with you about it.
- To schedule, provide, and follow up on cleaning services, including our satisfaction guarantee.
- To send text messages, only if you agreed to receive them.
- To protect our website, our clients and our team, including preventing spam and fraud.
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
WhatsApp, calls and texts
Our quote buttons and quote form open WhatsApp with a message already written. The form itself doesn't send or store anything; your message reaches us only when you press send inside WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms under its own terms and privacy policy, and messages are end-to-end encrypted. We use your number only to talk with you about your quote and service. We won't add you to marketing messages without your permission, and you can ask us to stop messaging you at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us operate, under obligations to protect it: Netlify (website hosting), Meta (WhatsApp messaging), Google (business email, and the web font service that delivers the typeface on this site) and our phone carrier. The font service receives your IP address when the page loads, as any website request does.
- With the cleaners assigned to your home, limited to what they need to do the job.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our team or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a sale of the business, subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
WhatsApp conversations about quotes that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept while you are a client and for up to 3 years afterward for tax, insurance and guarantee purposes. Home access details are deleted or returned when service ends. Hosting server logs are kept by our provider for a short period under its own policy.
How we protect it
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS with strict security headers, and it has no database or account system that could leak your details. Access to client information is limited to people who need it. Keys and door codes are stored separately from names and addresses. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.
Data breaches
If personal information is ever compromised, we will notify affected people as required by Wisconsin law (Wis. Stat. § 134.98) and any other applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal, tax, insurance or security reasons;
- stop texts or emails (reply STOP to a text, or contact us).
Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to appeal our decision. To make a request, call or email us using the details below. We will verify your request by confirming details you have shared with us, respond within 45 days, and won't treat you differently for using your rights. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.
Children
This website is for adults arranging cleaning services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our Instagram and TikTok pages and other linked sites are run by those companies under their own privacy policies.

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
